on choosing our venue.

from the start, i wanted a big oak tree.

but this girl was working with a budget, so i had to be reasonable! i searched all over the internet for months (another downside to a 2 year engagement) and came up with nothing. nothing. it's texas for cryin' out loud, where's all the southern charm?!

then i saw these pictures and i melted a little. this was the place, and no wonder i didn't find it, it's in spring which is a little north of houston.

even the name is quite lovely, Oak Tree Manor.

settled in a quaint bed and breakfast lies this little gem, needless to say, i am over the moon.

it was the second venue we visited, but we sort of already knew. it was perfect. after booking this, everything else sort of fell right into place.


can i say how absolutely thankful and grateful i am? there's nothing else i can say. we are two very blessed people, and we feel so loved everyday.



And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge -- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
