Clearing the vision. This just fits really well. In the time that I have, which is a lot, I fill it with wasteful things. TV and internet crap. I have been making less and less time for peace and quiet. For prayer. For knowledge, insight, and understanding.
The passage that pertains to this week is this,
Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and that sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2
'Throwing off anything that hinders', meaning cleaning off the edges of what's stopping us from focusing on Jesus. What scales (Acts 9:18) are covering your vision?
